How to pick between Delhivery, Ekart, and India Post

A pincode-by-pincode look at which courier wins where. Data from 100,000+ real shipments.

20 Aug 2026

There's no universally best courier in India. Best-in-class for one lane, expensive-and-slow on another. Here's a rough guide based on 100,000+ shipments across our network.

Delhivery

The workhorse for Metro + Tier-1. Best SLA numbers, tightest tracking, highest cost. Use it for Zone A, B, C where the price difference is small and the time-to-doorstep matters.

Ekart

The strongest Tier-2 / Tier-3 network. Slightly slower first-mile, competitive rates, strong COD collection performance. Use it for Zone D and budget-sensitive Zone C shipments.

India Post

The only carrier that reaches every serviceable pincode in India — including the ones the private couriers won't touch. Slower, but unmatched coverage. Speed Post for time-sensitive rural. Parcel Contractual for bulk.

Smart routing

The BFast smart-routing logic doesn't ask you to pick. Every order gets scored against price, serviceability, and expected SLA for its destination, and the winner is selected automatically. You see one AWB per shipment regardless of which courier carried it.

You can override per-order or per-lane at any time.
